Hello all. I hope I find you well mid-week. I’m never quite sure what to do with myself or how to feel on Wednesdays. My body is usually broken from Tuesday night soccer. I need a lot of caffeine and painkillers. Sometimes, I can forward to Wednesday night pub trivia. Sometimes not. Today is a quiet one.
I looked through my wedding photos. It seemed like a good thing to do because they are going to be featured on a wedding blog soon. In doing so, I found this one. I guess it’s not really a wedding photo, but I really like it. It was taken without my knowledge at the ferry terminal in Anacortes.
I like that moment. I like thinking about that moment. I was waiting for the ferry to take me to Orcas Island, where my wedding was taking place in 2 days. I didn’t feel stressed one bit. I felt so serene and peaceful. I looked at over the water and was full of love.
I sound pretty soft, I know. The time around Valentines is as good a time as any for reflecting on love and giving love back. In that spirit, I thought I’d let you know about a little giveaway. I think it’s pretty exciting.
K is giving away an engagement session to a lucky couple! Please See his blog for details and spread the love.
Or, make these. They will surely fill you up with sugar and good feelings.

I love the photo at the ferry dock. My family has a place on Lopez, and I've been going there since I was a baby, so I know that view well. I'm so pleased I ran across your blog!
